Gabe was found on the side of a road after being hit by a car and left there. The finders brought him home, but had to keep him outside, where he was then attacked by another animal.
He was then brought to Saving St. Louis Pets’ attention, and they contacted us to see if we could take him into our rescue. How could we say no? He has had multiple surgeries and skin grafts for the gaping wound on his neck and leg. He has lost vision in his right eye and spent almost two months at the vet to heal completely. He is now in a loving foster home, but we are left with a tremendous vet bill. We are a small rescue that relies on donations and adoption fees to keep helping other animals like Gabe. Any donation amount is helpful and much appreciated (and also tax deductible)!
